Project Little Green Turd

:icon_hornsup: Felt like a new man driving it again. It's been too long. And the stares I get from folks are great as well.

That's great! You need the "You Bought that? I built this!" and "Don't worry, I welded it!" stickers. I think they could really add to people's reactions lol

Anyone know the thread size of the factory bolts for fenders and radiator core support bolt ons? I am trying to order new "U" nuts and don't have a bolt anywhere near me. Thanks!

Edit: Bed Bolt size and length too! Thanks! :icon_thumby:

So on my flight out to Salt Lake City, I started putting some thought into a front bumper. I want something simple, strong, and light. I may add the upper part of my grill guard as well. I am not planning on mounting a winch. If I need one, I'll do a receiver mount winch so it could be used in the front or rear and be easily removed for daily driving.

I drew this up in Adobe ideas :icon_welder:

Do you guys have any thoughts or comments?

yeah they actually are, plus the 6x6's will burn damn near anything. there's a place here in NC near camp lejeune (USMC base) that sells them pretty cheap

I'd like to get one to build up the motor and do a 6x6 mud truck. I could probably haul the Ranger in the back of some of them or do a removable camper setup. So many uses!

On top of all, they look flat out bad ass. This one is my favorite:

Ha you should've seen Smith's and Edward's a few years ago! They've cleaned most of that yard out. But it's still a pretty fun place:D

I'm sitting in a bar called The Fifth in Bountiful. I almost drove up to Logan yesterday to stop in Thunder Mountain 4x4. This area is absolutely gorgeous. It's the best place work has sent me thus far.

It really is beautiful up here. Here are a couple of pictures that I took with my phone while hunting last Saturday close to where I live.
It has been extremely dry lately, but it's still very breath taking IMO.
