Had some minor issues with the wiring not being right and needing a new distributor, but I got it all fixed so I'm happy.
Anyway, after I get back from vacation at Mongaup Pond (Livingston Manor NY) I will be ordering my Oil pan. That's gonna run me about 60 dollars shipped for a new one. Then I will be stopping by Gary's U Pull it after taking my father to his Biopsy to pick up a 7.5 with 3.73 gears. I'll either then spend my weekend swapping brakes and whatnot with the two axles and eventually putting the new one on or I'll spend it with my Girlfriend. Depends on if she has to work. I feel weird, I'm jobless and going on 18, she's 16 and makes about $260 a week..
I'm still deciding on if I want to paint the rear axle. Should I wire brush it and then paint it or just scrape off the lose bits? Maybe I should just put it on the way it is, I dunno. It's only a 7.5. If I paint it, it's either going to be black or dark red. Probably dark red.
