Project Life Support.

Nah, just an old picture. I had it setting against the window.

It was about 90 here the other day. Kind of depressing since my friend who moved to Florida is only in the low 80's.

thats what i figured lol, its about 80 down here in the dirty south., but anyway, like the prgoress, with the truck, iv decided to copy you and get that valence with the lights, but idk how to wire them in.

I'm still looking for my valance lol. I can buy one for 40 online, but then I'd feel like crap sanding and painting it after dropping a wad of cash. Plus I'd still have to get lights and make brackets/buy some.

Unfortunately it looks like work is going to slow on this. That means it might take me a while to get the oil pan and new axle under this truck. Along with all the interior goodies I had plans for.

I have a new girlfriend that's stealing time away from my random bored "I want to randomly work on my truck" moods. And I kind of got replaced at work. My father decided to hire someone that can work random days on Mondays through Fridays for more pay, and do less work. What an idiot.

I can do in one hour what the new guy does in two, he's only concerned with his own paycheck while I only cared about my fathers, aka the families.

On page 4, your reply #58,last picture, do you or someone else know what that plug in the upper right corner because I have that same thing and have no clue where it leads except that it's connected to the main wire harness?

Sorry to hear about the situation with your dad at work, hope your dad finds out it is a terrible switch to that other guy.

looks good :yahoo: i still dont know if when i do mine if i want to paint it black like yours or paint it the color of my truck, but nice work, how much time, effort did it take and what was the process

Basically, I just popped it off, sanded it down a bit to take the shiny part of it off and make it a little rough, then washed it real good with some dish soap to get it clean.

Sprayed it down with a few coats of Rustoleum Specialty Plastic spray paint, and it's getting a coat of clear tomorrow.

Woops. Never posted a picture of the truck completed with the bumper and grill. I did on another forum though.. looks like I just plain forgot.

It's not that good of a picture but it's all I have at the moment. If the grill doesn't look as shiny as the bumper, it's because it isn't. The clearcoat I had from the bumper had a bad reaction with the Plastics paint and I had to redo it, without the clear coat. Makes me wish I had bought High Gloss plastics paint instead.

Oh.. and notice anything missing?
