but to the point
Well i mentioned this in the other forum but i figure ill just leave the main problem I was talking about there and bring this seperate problem here. I have a new batterry, alternator, battery cables, and yet when I am at a stop and have accessories going (something the truck should be able to handle since its all items that came with tthe ttruck factory, like heater, headlights, wipers, blinkers, blah blahs) the volt meter reads at the line above 8 volts or maybe a little higher, needle flickers with blinker and wiper, and returns to above 12V when driving... freaky huh? well id like to figure it out.. maybe just the gauge idk.. Also when my efan kicks on it really kills the juice.. it shouldnt do that.. maybe try replacing alternator again.. so many options..

the factory alternators are 65 amps, if you are running electric fans then you may need a bigger alternator. Depending on the fans, they can draw 80 amps+ on start up

Okay I went to a 70 or somethinclose to that. My fan is a 16" single fan pulled. Can't remember brand but that's what it is.
