need help 96 ranger, broken back glass, drivers side center section...in southern nj

someone broke the drivers side back window glass section on my 96 ranger, STANDARD CAB. needed to either replace one section on drivers side or the whole assembly/glass.

didnt know if i could just change 1 side of sliding glass, or you needed to replace entire window assembly??

how hard is entire window? anyone with experience?

any leads/input appreciated, thanks, p

email fastforded@yahoo.com with any info....

if it the sliding read window you can just cal the local bone yard and you can get rear window for like 50 bucks maybe less. It happened on my 94 my dad put a log through the drivers side. You just take off the back panel on the inside of the truck it should have like 6 nuts holding the glass in. undo the nuts take the old one out. Make sure you get a new gasket for the new window. And also make sure its warm enough outside when you replace it so the new window will mold to the new seal. Should only take about an hour to replace. hope this helps.

thats exactly right!my roommate kicked mine in when he locked my keys in the truck!

*oh and guess who fixed it? me of course
