Well after trying to work with Artec to build me a truss for my narrowed D60, and them not being able to modify one of theirs to be narrow enough I started to build my own.
I need the truss as my upper link for my 3 link will be on the drivers side of the truck and run along side the front drive shaft. I didn't feel confident welding my link mount just to the top of the cast section as I've seen some do, so the truss is the best option for me I figure.
I bent up some tube tonight and started welding it on to my housing. I will finish it off with some plating with some sleeved holes through it. Would love to use dimple dies, but alas I have no press or dimple dies at home...
That is as tight and low as I could get the tube to the top of the diff housing. Trying to keep it as low as possible to try and avoid having to completely cut out the engine crossmember to the keep the ride height of the truck as low as possible.
Also have 5 13x38x16 TSL's and 16x8 procomp steelies on order as well, they should be here in a couple weeks. I've got my axle end brackets for my links and my links themselves started.
