My Bronco 2

Just go for it. You can have a lot more research an info than I did doing the swap.. I don't think the second gen dash should ever see a first gen. I like the first gen to much.

So JUST DO IT!

Well today was the first time cutting on the body for me.. And I didn't even sweat it.. Uh oh! Lol

That's the first step. :D

well i don't have a lot of plans to cut on the body of this rig.. its to solid. to much of a DD.. but that part had to be cut. after the axle swaps i'm gonna try to lower my COG slightly so i might do a slight fender trim. 33's or 35's idk yet. i'm gonna see what my height is after the swaps and see which way is the best to go.

I agree that it looks much better :icon_thumby:

next comes rebolting or riveting on the inner fender to the outer to help stiffen it up. gonna go back wednesday and work on it more... but the worst part of that is done now.

So... how much lift is on this thing?

You'll be looking at 33's then. My BII has a 4" on it and 35's... and you know how much I cut my fenders out! Maybe you don't... but it was the whole factory flare.

Used a 1/4" rivet to hold the inner fender to the outer. Then added a piece of vacuum line I split open over it. Looks better in my opionion. Gonna get some of the actual stuff for it or just glue this on lol
