My Bronco 2

if all else fails, weld your light bar on to it that you had, I'm sure you can make it look good on there, and the lights will be up out of the way of the winch.

Robert

light bar was sold. the bends wouldn't have matched up anyways

I see a sweet bull bar set up built with the same style as the bumper that crosses over the top of where the winch will be settin. but that would be more work and the bumper would have to be off for a lil while. not to mention repaint

anything is possible! lol.. its gonna stay like it is till i get the winch for it. now i'm focused more on getting my axle swaps finished tho..

I like it. Looks really nice. How about weld a stinger or something of the sort on top and put the lights on it?

looks like winch money is going into some repairs... i looked under my truck at my g/f's house today and there was coolant on the ground.. looked at the side of the block, coolant all on the driver side of the block. and the power steering has been leaking at the box for to long. guess i'm gonna have to fix all this crap. :pissedoff:

the coolant leak aint to to to bad.. but enough it needs to be addressed

part one to the sas lol
they are stock xj springs i'm gonna use as a base line figure.. this way if i'm 3 inches low, i know i need +3 lift springs for a cherokee.

bought my shackles for my bumper today... is that a good update??

....that's all i got....

gettin a spring X" taller wont necissarly mean your truck is gonna sit the same x" heigher it can be kinda harry tryin to find a spring with identical spring rate. aside from that wont be able to get the idea of caster angle or steering/tracbar angle using them. however they would work to help initially locate the axle under the truck during mock up and what not.

Oh and good update if you had some pic's for us to ogle at.

i mean d-ring screw pin anchor schakles... lol

and yeah, we thought about that on the coil springs
idk, i just don't want the truck a lot higher than it is now... i've never done an sas on a RBV before. only one's there was "kit" (yota's, trailgear, no guess work) anyways... so once i get my long arms and axle ready... what's the best step to take? as far as the steering and caster- i can do that once the axle is mounted permanently, but what about the trac bar? do i just gotta figure out what springs i want and go with it???

there is alot of step by step stuff. need to get this so i can figure out that kinda stuff. what worked for other's might not necisarrly work for you.

once I had my axle I ordered my longarm's and link bracket's. i think i then ordered my spring's then steering. something like that

I knew what you meant i just wanted to look at the bumper again

Lol I ordered the d-rings, they ain't here yet. But I'll post up a pic once they are here. I ordered some good ole CM brand. MADE IN THE USA! lol

Well our awesome weather-- windy but... Oh well
