My 1989 ranger 2.9 i cant seem to get it to no missfire or stumble on its self under acceleration. Kinda seems like WT seems to be better than 50% throttle for some reason.

I changed out the
-Ecu
-AIT sensor
-Tps
-O2 sensor
-disbrutor/wires/plugs and coil
-fuel pump/filter. Getting solid pressure to manual and rising under theottle movement
-cleaned throttle body..
-multiple TFIs. Checked plug and it getting all the readings.
-timing multiple times checked. Wire triple checked..

At this point I dont know what else to do.. other than injectors. I took the vavle covers off and the rocker arms are all moving and seem fine.

What plugs are you running and did you gap them? Going from memory, is it .045? I would also check the wires with a meter while you are moving them around. If you are too rough with them, they are very easy to break. Happens especially when you are doing a lot of engine work and are pulling them on and off.

Welcome to the site.

I just swapped the wire out with OEM motocraft ones, checked timming and the spark plugs are at .045. And it kinda seems a bit better. But still kinda missin under acceleration. Maybe a new oem distubtor?
Any thoughts what else to check.

I remember a cylinder balance check test on some ford ecu. Not sure about yours tho.
