mazdamama's fullwidth 79 f150 sas build

i dunno what ideas u want for brake lines but if its for extended lines u can run a hard line along the frame and put a flex line (from a caravan if i remember right) them run hard line up the radius arm then the stock flex line to the caliper. doing it this way from what i understand makes it so u dont need costly extended lines and the ones u use u can get at any parts store. and extended lines have a habit of getting pinched in the coils. u are using radius arms right?

this is the best pictures i could get in my tiny not so well lit garage. and yes i realize the tires are on the wrong sides. feel free to ask questions or give advice. more pics coming soon.

1st question...

...how in tarnation do you figure on getting that thing out of the garage?! :icon_rofl:

Good question, width isnt the problem, its the height of the truck.

its an illusion the truck actually about 3 inches lower than the top of the garage door but if all else fails i still have some 31s with rims i can throw on it.

Lookin pretty good...What size you runnin, 38's??
SVT

That looks real good! For some odd reason I always expected full width axles to be MUCH wider than that. I like it.

That is frickin awsome lookin....ya know what ya needa do now?.....Wheel that beast!!

how are the tires on the wrong sides? i didnt know swampers were directional

actually there just fairly new 37s. im geared and detroit locked front and rear, but havnt bought any chromoly shafts yet, so we'll have to see how long i can go before i brake the stock shafts.

well most fullwidths are at least 1.5 to 2 inches wider, but the rims i have on it right now are not too wide and have quite a bit of backspacing. also, a 79 dana 60 front is about three inches wider per side i believe, and with rims that have less backspacing and wider/ larger tires, fullwidths could easily be 7 or 8 inches wider per side.
