Pretty likely well over 100k, possibly over 200k. If it’s supposed to be a ā€œlow mileageā€ vehicle I’d like to see some of the other typical wear items in the cab.

That's just the 2.8's advanced "self oil change" feature. As long as pour pour new oil in, you're golden. (y)
 
Those pedals look gently worn for 142,000. I would have guessed less.
 
That mileage seems plausible with the pedal wear. I would expect more if it was in town a lot and about that or less if it is a more rural situation or if it spends most of it's life on the highway.

More rural here, I was thinking around 175k the brake pedal pad on my '02 wore thru and fell off which is about on par for this one.

And at about 190k the aftermarket one wore thru and fell off as well. :annoyed:

Stop using the pedal as a foot rest.
 
It's sometimes a head rest/eye gouger when doing wiring projects.
Been there. And sometimes the head rest becomes a foot rest while doing those kinds of projects.

Nope.

Whatever Dorman makes their pedal pads out of ain't the same stuff Ford used. Truck had 25k when I got it.

The ones in my Ranger look like the OP's, am not bothering to replace them until I have to. Either fight with a chunks of 40yo dried out NOS rubber or cheap new junk... its a no win situation.
