I have a 2” lift on my 94 4x4 4.0. I just have the spring spacer up front and rear extended shackles. The front is still quite nose down. I want to lower the rear some but I cannot use the other holes on the shackles due to the rear trailer hitch. Can I remove the stock lift blocks and add a smaller block. If so which block to get?

Other holes on the shackles? Do you have lift shackles then with the multiple holes?

I'd take the block out, and then get back any lift you want by moving the holes further out on the shackles.

The shackles are maxed out due to the trailer hitch. Cannot use lower holes cuz they will rub badly.

Anyway we can get a pic of your setup?

I think explorer springs give a touch of lift, 1"-ish depending on factors. You can take the blocks out and pull a set from the junkyard and see if that may work. I'm pretty sure they don't give a full 2" like the block does.
