low range used to work in my truck or i should say the switch in the dash used to activate low range when i had an automatic in. now that ive done the manual swap i lost low range somehow. was wondering if this is due to some of the auto nss switch wires i didnt know what they were for. tied the two power wires together so my i could start my truck by pressing the clutch in and tied the reverse light wires into the trans. theres still some "extra" wires chillin and idk if this is my problem. :annoyed: i would just tie those wires in with the two power wires but idk what they were for and didnt want to cause any harm.

i searched the forum using "low range" found a thread with the same problem but did not specify the fix

I've answered this question at least a dozen times. The simple answer: ground the red/white wire.

there should be a sticky lol. just like the adapter on the back of the crank.

I knew it had been covered but couldn't remember who and where. Hope it works for ya.

Actually, to make it work like a factory 5 speed truck, you need to splice the red/wht wire into the pink/lt blue wire that goes to the clutch switch, so it is grounded when the clutch is depressed.
