Hi everyone. I have a 1996 Ford Ranger with the 3.0L V6. It was originally an automatic, but a previous owner converted it to a manual transmission. I'm not sure why.
The speedometer and odometer don't work. I'm trying to bypass the original wiring and connect the VSS (Vehicle Speed Sensor) directly to the instrument cluster, since I believe that should work.
I found the wiring diagram below, but it's cut off before it shows the instrument cluster connector. Does anyone have the complete diagram or know which instrument cluster connector and pin the VSS signal goes to?
I'd really appreciate any help. Please excuse my English—I'm from Uruguay. Thanks!
