LMC '97 Front Bumper

I'm looking at LMC bumper and they have one with pad holes and one without, and I have no idea what they're referencing. Can someone point me in the right direction?

You can see the bumpers you mentioned in the picture above. Some of your 80s & 90s Ranger bumpers had a plastic/rubber impact strip/pad that ran the full width. "W/ PAD HOLES" is the one with slots for mounting that pad. If your 97 Ranger has a plain chrome bumper, or you want it to have a plain chrome bumper, buy the one "W/O PAD HOLES".

EDIT: Ok, I did a little sluthing/stalking. Based on pictures you posted in another thread, it looks like your current bumper has the holes/slots for the pad, but the pad it no longer there. LMC may sell the pad as well if you want to put it back, otherwise I'd get the one without the holes.
