Have tried to locate a decent used rear bumper for my 2011 Ranger XLT 4-door 2WD with no luck. So looking for an OEM aftermarket replacement. Has anyone purchased and installed an LMC Truck Parts OEM style bumper kit? If so, can you comment on the quality and fitment of the kit? Am going to go with chrome so I don't have to mess w/ painting it.

Or did you buy a bumper from elsewhere? If so what did you get and how was that kit?

This is what I am looking at (link):
And... I have the "Styleside" bed, right? (Photo prior to rear end impact):

I believe you are correct, you have a style side. And I beleive the step bed is called s flare side.

^ That's the way I've always heard it.
And the only thing I've heard bad about LMC was price. Apparently some people think they're expensive. I'd say it depends on what you buy.

So poking around on the internet not finding the greatest level of love for LMC. Some like there products, some not so much.

However have found some pretty favorable reviews on reddit & youtube for the bumpers for various trucks from https://bumpersthatdeliver.com/ (aka MBI Auto and on ebay as "bumper-outlet").

Anyone share any experience dealing with "Bumpers That Deliver"?

This is the first I've heard of them.

First I've heard of the second place. I've purchased from LMC before and hever had problems with them or what I recieved. Never purchased a bumper from them though.

So after reading some favorable reviews I did buy a bumper from "Bumpers That Deliver" for my 2011 Ford Ranger 2WD PU. They also have an ebay store "bumper-outlet", https://www.ebay.com/str/bumperoutlet Price was same on ebay or direct from their website at $229 shipped.

I bought it a month ago and finally got it installed today. Went w/ chrome rather than primed for painting. Quality was not as good as OEM but price was about 20-25% of OEM. So pretty happy overall. The new bumper (w tread-pad) without brackets weighed 28 Lbs. The old bumper w/ tread-pad and no brackets was 32 Lb. I'd say the brackets were about near identical in weight, the OE inner brackets seemed a smidge thicker.

The new bumper came w/ tread-pad installed. Also included new brackets, new lic plate lamps & bulbs w/ a harness you would have to splice in. And all new bolts & nuts.

I didn't want to have to splice in new tag light wiring into the harness so I just re-installed the lights from the original OE bumper into the new one. And I decided to reuse all the original Ford nuts and bolts. The Ford OE nuts & bolts are M14 bolts. The bolts that came in the kit are M12 bolts. So I decided to wire brush and keep the original larger bolts since they weren't corroded badly.

I decided to re-use the two beefy OEM main center brackets. They were finished nicer, and seemed a little heavier. I had to use both of the new outer support brackets from the kit. As my OEM outer brackets were very much bent.

To get the side to side to match up evenly I had to stack two M14 washers to offset it slightly to left. Perhaps that is why they supply M12, to give more movement to get it all lined up. No way were my beefy center brackts bent, I am certain. A regular person wouldn't worry about it but I was anal about the alignment and got it evenly placed L to R/up & down/side to side within about 1-2mm. Nice.

Overall pleased and would recomend this kit unless you have the $$ to buy OE. I wasn't willing to spend it myself.
