LF Rear Diff Fill Plug Tips & Tricks

If you put anti-seize on the outer half of the threads of the new plug, you won’t have to worry about it next time. Easy peasy.

well yes, but if you get your truck 10+ years after it was built and no one else had ever had that plug out, and especially if your in the salt belt, not so easy.

Poor man’s never seize: teaspoon of talcum powder with a Half teaspoon of bearing grease and a squirt of penetrating oil. Mix & apply.

Those three things cost more than actual anti seize lol.

If you don't pull the plug and check the level every time you service it you're doing a lousy job. It doesn't need never seize if it's removed a couple times a year.

EVERYTHING needs antiseize. :ROFLMAO:

I use antiseize like hot sauce, I PUT THAT **** ON EVERYTHING!

Do not put it on the underside of your co-workers passenger side door handle. Once his wife gets that on her hands, clothes, face, etc. And finds out it doesn't wash off easily, he will be dead and you will be next on the hit list.
