Now, that is some tight working space!

10x20, $250 on amazon, keeps my head dry on rainy days. ziptied some 4ft leds on tube frame 2 peices of plywood to run small wheel across. so ill take it

I have the same tarp garage. I have to replace the stupid cover every 2-3 years and its cheaper to buy a whole new setup than just the cover. If you ever need more poles let me know, I've got enough to build 3 more.

thanks dirtman, ill let u know. ever got an upgraded cover or considered? mine has 2 small holes in it, almost 1 yr old so going through warranty for cover and trying to get them to upgrade cover minus price of original

I didn't know there was a "upgraded" one? I've never tried to contact shelter logic, I just order a new one on amazon whenever the holes get too big. Like I said, usually every 2 and a half years. I even tried padding the corners by wrapping all the joints and angles of the poles with thick duck tape.

My harbor freight 170$ 10x17 lasted me probably 4 years before the roof section of the cover started to get crappy. I ran .032" thick aluminum down the length of the roof like shingles would be laid, bottom to top. Self tapped through the cover into the frame. Im sure itll extend the life of the thing another 5 years at least. Don't need to worry about 2' of snow collapsing it anymore as it just slides right off. I WAS going to use that "wavy clear green plastic roofing" from home depot, til I saw the price of a sheet... I decided free scrap from work was a better idea.

Couldn’t really get a good picture of the outside, it was too dark when I got home.

Don’t have a shed so there is yard tools and a generator stored in the garage too.

Air compressor is upstairs, and has it’s own breaker on the panel to turn it on.

I probably spent 4x as much effort fixing up my garage and getting it into a usable workshop then I have into my actual house.

Getting out of the weather is a big step. I've had worse. A 10'X12' tarp with a couple of poles and some lines to tie it down. I've even had a vehicle up on ramps with a torpedo heater aimed at the bottom of the vehicle where I was working a couple of times with some old cardboard boxes to sit on. Whatever it takes to get the job done.

I agree. I can work cold. But cold and being hit by wind and rain, sleet, snow and the pressure of "I must get this done so I can drive to work tomorrow " is just miserable. I did the heater core in my 88 F150 one time on a winter day when it wouldn't stop pouring down rain. That was over 30 years ago but I remember it like yesterday.

You don't want to see that mess...
