Steering wheels are highly over rated...

Tanks???............................You're Welcome

The tach is the easy part, it is the speedometer that gets complicated.

The 420 pictured is too wimpy, needs more levers and knobs:

I really actually like my first gen Ranger's interior:

I wish there was room for bucket seats and a good console, they fixed that in '86 though.

What're the other two floor levers for? I'm guessing one is for a manual shift transfer case. What's the other one?

T-case has a twin stick modification done. Left stick is for FWD output, right stick is for RWD output. Like on the trail ride if I needed to turn sharp on good going I could put the front in neutral and leave the rear in low range. Much easier than unlocking hubs or shifting back to 2hi. To turn really sharp I can put the rear in neutral, set the parking brake and drag the rear in FWD.

There is an interlock so you can’t mess up the ranges (one end in high and one end in low)

Neat, cheap DIY mod for a NP-205 transfer case (and a few others). Everybody thinks it’s weird but the versatility is addictive once you get on to it.
