Its factory. I have the same one in my '01 Ranger. I think they only came in the 60/40 bench, auto trucks.

Yep, factory. My 97 has one as well. the cupholders on mine have a rubber pad on the bottom to cover the clips that hold it to the base plate on the floor.

I finally figured that out with the help of google and fordrangerforum.com posting. I really like the cup holder, want to put one in the truck I just bought, but don't want to use the one in my Ranger as the new buyer will wonder what I took out, then want to beat me up on price for it. Thanks

Google for the win! :) now all you need to do is hit the local junkyards for one to swap into your new truck. I would imagine that Pull A Part (if you have on nearby) wouldn't charge more than 10 or 15 bucks for that.

I got one off ebay for $18 shipped.... It came with all the inserts and rubber liners.

I'd love to have one of those, but mine are too cool to have floor-mounted cup holders. Those two darn shifters always in the way. :icon_rofl:

Well get rid of that junky 5 speed and swap in the super awesome A4LD! you can then cover the hole in the floor with a console/ cup holder ;missingteeth;

You need this one:

I don't even think that one would work for Adsm08's applications as he has the manual transfer case lever as well if I read his post correctly. I saw a 2001 Ford F-150 with something similar to that but one cup holder was taken up by the manual transfer case lever.

That would explain why he said "those two darn shifters"... I guess I need to read before I type.

Bill is right, I have manual transfer cases in both.

Comically enough though, I do have one of those cup holder/bezel units sitting on top of my tool box right now.

that's what I have but I hate that I can barely fit any tall cups due to it hitting the console lol.
