I figured out how to watch youtube on my TV and control it with my phone.

Anyways....sometimes after an ad break the video comes back on and the closed caption is on.

I then have to manually shut it off. Sometimes it happens numerous times and its annoying as shit.

Anyways to stop this?

I can use the remote too but i can press the little wifi with a box symbol on the youtube app and it transmits to my tv through the youtube function on my tv. Its alot eaiser to search stuff with the phone then the remote....and i can still browse the web and stuff.

I need to try that. I thought you were just using the "screen mirror" function to show your phone display on the tv.

I understand. I have a remote that came with my tv and since i dont gave cable, or even watch tv, it turns the tv on and the tv automatically hooks to the xbox channel and call of duty or forza comes on.

Thats the extent of my magical new smart tv experience. Tv works and picture is years better then my old tv from 2010 so i am happy.

We weren't allowed to watch tv, except when weather was bad or sunday after church.when kungfu theatre was on. Otherwise, mom said the outside is where kids are supposed to be, running and playing.

You can control your tv with your phone?

Samsung smart TV and Samsung phone with the smart things app. It is nice to be able to sit upstairs and when I tell my son to do something and he ignores me I can turn off the TV or mute it or play something from my phone onto the TV to give him the idea he needs to do what I ask of him, and I don't have to go downstairs.
