Hi, name's Jesse and this is the first time I have ever used a forum. Been look on therangerstation for a while, and now have started my own project. I have a 1992 Ranger super cab. Ford Norfolk was the first owner, then my father, and now me (he got tired of me borrowing it). Swapping the driveline out of a 1997 Exploror 5.0 (motor, computer, trans, and rear end). Looking for anyone who has done this swap before. The wiring is what has me worried, the tech library is super helpful for the mechanical part, but I want a/c and cruse control. Not sure at this time about using the dash gauges and the controls from the 92 for the 97. Again anyone who has any advise would be great.. Thanks to all for having a place to help those of use whose Ranger is not just a truck but something that is our past(my dad), present(me), and future(my son).
