My idea of gun control is hitting what I am aiming at.
It's not guns that are the problem. It's the stupid wannabe thugs that get ahold of guns that are the real problem.......

It seems to me that it will always be that only criminals will have guns if they ever do get rid of our rights to own a gun. We DO have the right to protect ourselves if the need be...but some people take the law into their own hands a bit too much. Late last year a guy (school bus driver) walked across the street to a park and pulled a weapon on kids who were skateboarding. A man who was there with his 10 year old daughter got killed when he asked the guy to put the weapon away. The guy started to walk away and then turned and pointed the weapon at the man and his daughter and he then he shot and killed the guy in front of all the kids and the man's 10 year old daughter. The school bus driver had a cwp but that did not give him the right to walk away from his home over to a park and confront kids about skateboarding!!! He was arrested and lost his job and is awaiting trial for it.

Guns kill people everyday!! People are behind those weapons. Some guns fall on the ground and people get shot or die from that gun.

Watching this reminds me i should carry mine more often. I have my permit and I never carry.....the day might come when i regret that.

Sad to say but the next "target" of the obama admin is guns. You could say that congress would never go along with it and your right. But....obama is aiming to do what he has been doing since he got into office,bypass congress and sign an executive order. I am a Christian and I try to obey the law but this guy is the one breaking the law set forth in the Constitution and he aint gonna take my guns away. This is very upsetting to me to say the least and it may make it hard to get my inheritance when my dad passes away,seeing as my inheritance for the most part is guns.

We have pretty strict gun control up here in Canada, and our gun murder rate per capita is about 10% of the US.

Im quite happy with our gun control laws for the most part (long gun registry is a bit of a joke, hunters use hunting rifles, not gangsters...)

Sure it takes 1 second to switch out a clip, but if you only have 1 bullet in it, its not like you can reasonably carry 30 clips on you.

Has nobody actually read the 2nd amendment? It clearly states you can bear arms to form a militia for the defense of the nation. Now you have an army to do that for you.

This guy was a crazy bastard that drove a truck into the side of a building, and started unloading... If you have the right to bear arms, doesn't he have that same right? Nobody having guns seems better than everyone having guns, 'cause there are way too many people who shouldn't have them.

Lets look at Switzerland and Denmark.

Switzerland has laws that not only allow, but in fact require, every citizen to be able to handle a firearm and every household to own at least one.

Denmark has relatively few gun owners.

Switzerland has stayed 100% out of pretty much every major conflict on the European Continent in the last 100 years.

Denmark has been overrun (mostly by Germany) in all of those same conflicts. And they are much smarter than the Polish.
