Hmmm............Amazon sells 6AN braided PTFE all inclusive kits that people seem to like.
This would be full length braided too.

I would probably watch a YouTube video to learn how to attach the fittings

Oh I understand, I’ve done my share of junkyard shopping, lol. I’ll use a part from anything as long as it does the job I need it to. Spent a lot of time wandering around junkyards with a tape measure looking for ideas and solutions. The yards that knew me knew to just let me through and let me poke around, I’ll be back when I’ve found what I’m after to either pay for it or inquire as to the cost.

I did not forget about following up with you guys. I need to schedule gas tank repair and fuel line replacement at the same time.

I will probably use rigid nylon tube from tank to engine bay and return line. Then I'll use stainless steel braided in the engine compartment. I have to get the right diameter adapters and quick connectors also. And they need to be reliable against leaks of course.

But is there anything against using a rubber type reinforced fuel hose made for higher psi fuel injection ? (only for the under body segment.....not in engine compartment exposed to heat)

I’ve used the rubber fuel injection line before all the way up. It works. Ethanol seems to do bad things to rubber if it’s not the actual fuel injection line.

Well, I think I will go with the beefed up rubber hose at least for the underbody segment.

As long as you keep it away from the exhaust by a few inches (and ideally some insulation), yeah. That’s how the old carburetor systems were done

My fuel rail (fuel injected) connections take female threaded fitting nuts . I'm assuming I should use a compression ring fitting there.......and push on barb or quick connect with clamp not advisable?
