hey how hard is the swap from d28 to the d35 i have the same issues with those axle shafts, let me know whats up very intersested in that swap.
It wasnt bad at all. If you get good Radius Arms with the D35 then all you have to do is take the nuts off the back of the d28 arms, take the 2 bolts out that hold the TTB Beams to the backets and un-bolt the coils and shocks. The cailpers just have to be taken off. They can be reused on the D35 so you dont have to crack open any brake lines.
I live in the rust belt and wanted to keep my D28 arms cuz they were not to rusty. But my TTB beams were. I needed heat (a torch) to get the special bolts out of the D28 beams that hold the arms on. That took me the longest.
Also you might need a shorter front drive shaft because the D35 pumpkin/third sticks out farther.
I plowed all last winter and had no probs with the D35. And i was running steel wheels and 33s
