i don't think any fuel is getting to that cyl. it take gas and spark to produce the the combustion and theres spark but no boom the injector has power to it how would i check for gas?

It takes gas, spark, and AIR to go boom... If you know the spark plug is lighting up, pull it out and see if gas is getting into the cylinder...

One side of the injector coil will have 12V on it. The other side of the injector coil is pulsed low (close to ground) to make the injector fire. Are you measuring 12V on both injector terminals?

the commonest cause for a non-firing injector on a 2.9 is a broken wire at one of the splices in the injector harness.

To explain splices you need to understand that the injectors fire in groups of three
two on one bank and one on the other....

So if it were electrical from the computer or main harness you'd
have THREE injectors not firing...
