Fellow Ranger enthusiasts I beseech thee.
Since I'm dropping a remanufactured Jasper engine into my truck after 256k miles, I've been looking for a few days now for a front left engine mount for my 2005 ranger edge 3.0 2WD with torsion bars... its been a nightmare.
AutoZone has the Duralast listed as in stock for only the passenger side, and I can't seem to find the driver side(left) anywhere. Can someone please tell me if the aftermarket has made that passenger side installable across the board
to be mounted for both sides now? On partsgeek.com the sales associate put two passenger side mounts in my cart when I asked for assistance in building a mounting kit (both front mounts and transmission mounting bracket).

Motorcraft P/N:
Left 5L5Z-6038-AA
Right 5L5Z-6038-AB

I found the left side on "getoemparts.com" under the motorcraft P/N but I'm not sure if that is a trusted supplier or site. I am leaning more towards going full aftermarket at this point but again its been a struggle to navigate with the confusion behind the left and right assembly substitution

They have them on RockAuto, they are the same as the 4wd mounts if you have the torsion bar suspension.

The only have the left side driver for anchor or dea/marmon available on rockauto.com 😭 I’m gonna try and source a right side passenger.

I ended up going with anchor brand
Mount on sixty auto website … Product description was :
“Anchor Front Left Engine Mount for 1998-2011 Ford Ranger 3.0L 4.0L V6” and of course the corresponding front right was ordered as well.
Fingers crossed this works. Said they’d fit 3.0 V6 4WD model for 2005. 🤞🏼

Here’s the links for any other lost souls that might find this helpful…

Thank you for the sage advice

The Engine mounts from sixtyauto.com came in finally, Left side is manufactured in china and the right side is made in thailand. I'm a little frustrated mainly due to the perception that they
give off when there is mention of their U.S made products. 😑i don't know how to feel about that because both have very different feel and the materials used obviously have a drastic difference
in manufacturing when i set them side to side. The rubber material is more smooth and has a harder surface on the Thai component whereas the Chinese make has a cruder feel to the rubber like
it had less of a refined process in the manufacturing. Basically my main concern is that I have one terribly made mount on one side and one slightly more terrible on the other.

At this point i feel like i should just reuse my OEM originals
. What do ya'll think. The rubber block looks intact for the most part on the ones currently in my engine bay. But then again they are 20 years old.
I thought anchor was made in the US.

In the images the left assembly is the passenger side (thai make) right assembly is the dirver side mount (chinese make)
Both are anchor industries brand
