Does anyone have one of these rear window shades?

I'd like some pics of some of these if any of you have one of these. I'd like to see if it sticks to the window or body. I'm wondering if this would aid in fixing my rear window leak.

It would stick to the body. It might help, unless your leak is the brake light gasket.

I was hoping that was the problem adsm, so I bought a brand new one. It still leaks in the same spot with the new light and gasket.

Then it's probably the window seal itself and that shade would probably help.

Thanks for the help!!

I thought it stuck to the body until I saw the example of the F-150 in the link. So I thought I would ask.

a co worker has one on his 98 & it sticks to the body, but even so they need a little trimming around the 3rd brake light for some odd reason.

My rear glass leaked in two places, i just siliconed it. Solved the problem.

How good does it look to do this? Do you have pics? I've thought of doing this too, but thought it might look hokey.

This is great info to know. Is your coworkers the same brand (GT Styling)?

You can get new seals for rear windows. Cheap too.

I have one for my truck, I'm just too lazy to put it in.

Where were you able to find a new seal, if you don't mind me asking?

Really depends on how good you are at smoothing out silicone and how big of a line you lay down. My truck was banged up so I was evening it out with practicality in mind as opposed to aesthetics.

A body shop or a glass shop that deals with automotive glass should be able to get one.
