I’m Francis a new member and in Germany with the US Forces.

I dropped a timing belt on the autobahn a couple of weeks ago, put it all back together, starts up immediately and runs smooth with over 100 miles since the repair, but is down on power versus how it ran before. I noticed it mostly yesterday when I was towing my bike trailer and needed to give it more gas pedal then normal when pulling away from a stop.

I have one extra gray (in color) vacuum hose coming off of the header/AC on the passenger in the engine compartment I can’t find a location for, which I plugged with a screw. Idle is great and engine will pull smoothly thru up to 5000 rpm without misses, etc and no known vacuum leaks and is just lacking in power.

I’ve spend hours on the web, owner’s manual, etc trying to find a place for the line with no luck and I plan to double check everything again over the weekend to insure the timing marks are still correct, but it runs too good to expect the timing be off.

I would appreciate any ideas.

Thanks :headbang:
