best manual trans for 302 swap?

I want to swap my 2.9 in my 87 ranger for a 302 and im not sure what specific tranny/ transfer case to use. I want manual trans and transfer case and i would love to have a granny gear for climbing. I want a durable one because i will eventually stroke out my 302 to a 347. Any suggestions?

I'd say a np435 mated to a twin stick 205 case.

i want a single stick but the tranny sounds good. What kind of driveshafts should i get so that it will take the least conversion and of course be cheapest while still keeping strength

The NP435/NP205 combo is the way to go unless you want overdrive, Then go with a ZF s542 or s547.
