Any Tire and Rim recommendations for 2nd Gen, 2wd that don't hurt my wallet ?

I'm sure this question has been asked plenty of times but I bought a 1994 3.0 V6 2wd before the winter and I'm currently sitting on tiny oem 14 inch rims and tires. Looking to find a bigger set of tires and rims to give me some extra height but something that wont rub either. Not looking to break the bank either.

what gearing does it have?


those tiny wheels and tires may be perfect.


best bet in general is a good usable set off of a marketplace. a set of wheels and tires in 15 in...say 225 75 15


locally to me on a craigslist there is a set of hardly used 235 blizzaks for 150 bux...i am thinking of buying them for my explorer plow truck to take the 265s off of it for the 150.

there are 16 15 and 14 in wheel sets for less.

buying new isnt too bad...but in ca its hard to say
