99 ranger 4,0 replaceing the lower control arms , Passenger side the lower control arm bolt to the rear hits the exhaust pipe . Unable to remove, driver side went smooth any ideas

Is it 2WD or 4WD ?

how much room do you need?

3 options, or rather my 3 best guesses

remove the exhaust pipe, use as a last resort. I'm in the rust belt so I'm slightly biased against touching a rusty exhaust bolt.

raise the pass side engine, loosen 2 mount bolts and jack it up carefully

have a new bolt available? cut the head off the old and pull it out backwards
