Ive had this truck for a few months and I have replaced a lot of parts on it - radiator, maf sensor, iac, tps, fuel pump/filter, water pump, fuel regulator, both coil packs, plugs and wires.

It had a misfire and loss of power (code 224) so I thought it was my icm. I took my icm out and was gonna have it tested. But I had to move my truck so I put my icm back in and moved it and after I put my icm back in the code went away and it ran the best it ever had since I got it.

I drove it for a bout an hour then my cel came back on and now it wont start.

I wanna say it is still my icm but I know it is getting power because if I unplug it and plug it back in you can hear the little whirring sound. So even though its getting power could it still be bad enough not to let my engine fire up?

I checked and I am still getting good fuel pressure so I ruled that out. And I have a new code but I cant figure out how to count the blinks right. (Blinks 3 times, pause, blinks once, pause, blinks 3, pause, blinks 3 more then it quits.)

IAny help would be appreciated.

I read my codes again and it looks like code 46 which according to that link is "Electronic Ignition – primary circuit failure coil 2 – Ignition Systems"

Code 31 and 33 had to do with my egr which shouldnt prevent it from starting (I could be wrong)

I am gonna try to get an icm tomorrow and ill post the results.

Thanks

didn't actually look at the codes it was just a guesstimate on what you posted. LOL:D

46 is probably closer to the mark

I'd start old school just check for spark in all cycl then run a test on your Injectors its missing one of the key ingredients to make fire air fuel spark compression but u just had it running so its not compression. Missing one of the other three it no go vrrrooommm lol
