Its Foxbody dual sump. Pretty sure it was a Dorman: https://www.summitracing.com/parts/rnb-264-022/make/ford/model/mustang/year/1982That is what I did
Then I brought it back because when they had it on a two post lift they didn't know the front diff dropped and the driveshaft rubbed.
Then when i swapped to a telescoping driveshaft I had to totally remake it because it did not fit at all.
Mine wraps around the bellhousing (added plus any ATF drippings from transmissions dribbled down the bell onto the exhaust for disposal) not the oil pan.
What oil pan is that? I am not sure my foxbody pan has enough room to do that. Does it heat the oil?
Never had any heats issues, I run conventional 5w-30 Valvoline and change it every 3K. Truck runs 195-200* on a hot day with AC cranked and single core rad. I dont have an oil temp sensor, but there is no signs sludge or goo in there and it typically looks almost new when I change it.
