4.0l OHV "New Intake Manifold Hypothetical" Shortened Upper plenum for higher RPM power a 4 barrel carb manifold.

If something new were going to come out for the OHV what would the guys who are interested in performance be looking for. A 4 barrel carb manifold or a lower pro file upper plenum to go along with a ported OEM lower intake to get the RPM potential of the engine up..

Please answer honestly something could come from it.

Morana already makes a plethora of 4.0 intakes. Unless you can come in cheaper, might be a tough sell.

If you are straight up going with a carb intake I don't think you would be really getting all the power you can (if you get any at all)

If you go to one that basically just as a throttlebody in place of a carb but still has injectors in the intake you might gain something... something like this:

But I wouldn't be surprised of a more optimized OE style intake would perform better.

@PetroleumJunkie412 has done more with different 2.9 intakes, IIRC the dual TB Scorpio intake performs better than the NA 2.9 truck intake.
