2WD Budget Build......

I think it looks ok, I just was asking because I thought the max you wanted to stack washers was 1.375" to net about 2" of lift otherwise you wouldn't be able to align the front end...at least that's what I've read of other people talking about the washer lift.

Well, that'd be why I'm removing two washers on each side, It'll be around 1.25" which will net close to 2" of lift. Right now, I'm sitting at 2.5" it seems to be a little much.

And not only that, I really wanna get a Rough Country lift kit, with that I will only run a 1" spacer and a 9in long bolt or something to that degree. Maybe if I can convince my dad to fork over his credit card for the lift kit, I might be getting it soon.

the rc kit aint that bad really. just the coils are stiff as crap..
i've liked my kit for the price.

if i had the money to sas now i'd sell you the front part of my kit. well, idk if it'd work on your 2wd lol.. nevermind.
i plan on selling it as soon as i can sas. maybe i'll sell it to finish up the money needed. just have to tear my truck down sooner than expected. lol, anyways.

If you sold me all the 4wd parts including the engine crossmember it may work. :icon_rofl:

But the shipping would be murder though.

ummm i kinda need my engine crossmember! lol, i'll have to trim it some but not cut it off completely! lol
and i don't think you'd want the d28.. but hey- it'll be for sale!

My truck is finally coming home today. I'm going to pick it up soon, will have pics up later tonight. I might relocate my fog lights too, if there is still light outside.

Hey looks good :icon_cheers:, how did the alignment go for you?
Does it go down the road straight.

It still has a very slight drift to the right side, that may be because my camber is more positive on the passenger side. I'm thinking that I will bring it back in to check the alignment again and redo my toe, the steering wheel is slightly off center to the right and to re-adjust my camber so that it is more positive on the driver's side, so that it will drive straight better. But holy damn, the truck looks so much better, the front end isn't pointing into the ground anymore. :headbang: Still needs bigger tires though. :bawling:

It's awesome. I highly recommend it. I went with a little over 1.5 in of lift and gained about 2.5 in of lift, almost wasn't align-able. I highly recommend it, much better than getting a poly spacer that will crack eventually. If you need any help, ask. :icon_thumby:
