Anyone else experience this? What's the fix?
All of the buttons on my stock 6-disc receiver have stopped working...except for the CD load function. I have a disc stuck in slot 1 that I'm unable to eject. Have tried resetting it by pulling the ground cable off the battery for 30minutes-ish. No success and now I can't reprogram my clock LOL. Would like my CD back and then I plan to replace this deck. Thankfully the volume works and it plays the CD...straight through...on repeat.
One weird mention. Last Tuesday I had three CD's loaded into slots 1-3. Randomly while I was driving, it started ejecting the CDs. I was not aware of the button failure before I loaded one of them into slot 1 as mentioned above. I'm thinking maybe a frayed wire/cable behind the unit caused a short in the panel? Otherwise it was working great and I was considering keeping it.
