Hey guys I’m new here but I’m having an issue with a 2000 4x4 4.0 ranger I just purchased.
While driving it home engine lights came on and it started running horribly. Spitting and sputtering loss of power. Almost sounded like it had a 2-step. CODES I got were P1132, P1151, P0172, and P1000.
i did the basic.. change fuel filter added seafoam, cleaned MAF sensor and IAT sensor. And that didn’t do anything. I pulled spark plugs they looked normal but I replaced them with auto lite app103s, replaced wires, and coil. I also changed out the IAC valve, and ECT sensor. Still didn’t fix anything. So I changed all three O2 sensors, and noticed previous owner removed the cats. Changing the O2s did nothing as well.
I then checked fuel pressure on the test port and I’m at 69psi which is right there.
i hooked up scanner and started to look into the live data a bit. I noticed my fuel trims are all messed up. STFT BANK 1 is at -23.3 LTFT BANK 1 is at -25 STFT BANK 2 is at 42.2 and LTFT BANK 2 is at 23.4 at idle. When you rev to 2000rpmthe long term fuel trims get a littl bit closer to zero. I sprayed brake clean around intake to check for vacuum leaks and didn’t notice anything.
I’m in need of help where to go from here. Intake gaskets leaking? Possible injector stuck open or clogged? Bad ECU?
Any advice will help TIA
