Waiting on my head bolts and looking over the victor reinz gasket set I bought for my 2000 4.0 OHV.

Insert mentions on '96 and up that between the lower intake manifold and the fuel rail manifold there is a 3mm thick plastic spacer with paper gaskets glued on each side of the spacer. (can re-use, etc.)

I didn't save or recall what I took off, the kit includes two gaskets that look like this for below the fuel rail and above.

I've read a number of threads with no real answer???

What gasket do I need to use between the lower manifold and fuel manifold?

Not finding anything while looking at auto parts places, just what I have already.

And not to sound to stupid as I'm sure I can look and figure things out, but what about the other gaskets included in this kit? I know the ones shaped like an 8 are for the upper intake.

What about the other ones on the left hand side of this pic?

Thank you...

Well here goes...

Upper left corner: I believe that it goes to the throttle body / intake plenum
oval three hole gasket next to it is the EGR valve gasket
Hexagon with 2 big/ 2 little holes No clue
8 little O-rings are for the fuel injectors, your engine needs 12, not 8. I bought mine in packs of 4 when I did my gaskets
three quasi "8" shaped O-rings are for the upper intake to fuel rail (as you noted)
not sure on the lazy 8 O-ring
weird O-ring with "handle" and no clue. the one inside it, possibly EGR tube where it goes into the upper intake
thick O-ring in lower left: thermostat. no clue on the one inside it.
top Right gaskets: left and right side lower intake to head gasket
bottom Right gaskets: Left and right valve covers, gaskets inside the valve covers: fuel rail to lower intake paper gaskets. These two go on top and bottom of your 3mm spacer more than likely.

My 97 did not have the spacer, and I only needed one paper gasket between the fuel rail and lower intake.

Check this link out for what I did when i replaced mine:

Thank you for the descriptions.

I ended up ordering the correct gasket, ticks me off the package I ordered didn't specify it didn't come with it and I can't recall what I took off.
