2.9 L starting trouble 1986 ranger

I sprayed gas down the intake it will hit

Then the injectors arent getting the signal to fire

Where would the control for this be? / plug or wires

OK, I found the plug plugged it in. It ran for probably about 30 seconds and then cut back off. It will hit if I give it a little bit of throttle but we’re not run now.

So itll run on throttle but wont idle?

It’ll do both if you give it starter fluid but not either with out it

Ok so its a fuel issue.

Check your pressure at the rail...if that checks out the ECM isnt grounding the injectors to fire them

I have good pressure at the rail. Now it is the trouble shoot for grounding

How and were are the grounds for the injection / ecm

Ok so its a fuel issue.

Check your pressure at the rail...if that checks out the ECM isnt grounding the injectors to fire them

Pressure is 39 psi
