2.8V6 Looking for deep exhaust tones, need ideas

4 cylinders in a vee or flat...maybe....regular 4 whizzers and v6 and most i 6.




should be wondered about....not heard.

Once you figure out that v-8's are an exhaust/ induction train wreck the odd fire sound starts to lose its appeal.

I appreciate everyone's responses! I don't feel i did a good job explaining i was going for a somewhat throaty v6, but nowhere near something that sounds like a v8. Unfortunately i don't have a 302 in the truck *yet*. I ended up going with a vibrant ultra quiet resonator with a super 44 single in dual out Flowmaster. I'm going to run 2 1/4 inch pipe all the way from the front out the back. Definitely looking forward to seeing how it sounds

I had a Gibson cat-back on my old Sport Trac and it made the V6 sound about as good as a V6 is going to sound.
