Doing the dana 30 coil over swap on my 2005 after I smoked another set of cv's and a hub this time

It's still holding up after two years...now some mods

Okay...it's been a while since I've been on here but my 1998 Ranger SAS di outstandingly well. I'm so proud that now I'll make a few modifications to make it better. I'll start a new thread as soon as I can...but here are some of the changes in mind:

- Get rid of mostly everything that is stock on the Jeep front end....I only made it to accomodate the factory parts cause they are alot cheaper if they break....but in this case they didn't break :) .

- Re-Engineer the Track Bar and mounting....although it held up and did well, I think I can do a little better.

Great to hear from you. Alot of guys want to see your truck pics of before and what you plan on doing now.

ill jump on the bandwagon. Id love to see pics and/or a new thread.

Will do - I'm gathering parts list right now. I will get some pictures up of what I did back in 2009 and what I plan on doing now very soon. I'll probably just keep adding to this post since it all goes together.

Below is the front of the ranger which has not changed since it was built with a SAS back in March of 2009.

Close-up of Solid Axle and what will happen

Below is a closer up image of the solid axle....most of the factory parts (steering linkage, track bar, etc) will be replaced by performance parts....notice on left had side I have a differential fluid leak - I replace the seal...still leaked...found out the half shaft is worn out allowing the fluid through the seal....this will be replaced as well.

Passenger Side Close up of shocks/Coil

The upper shock mount will be cut out and moved up allowing bigger, better, tougher shocks to be installed. All four bushings in the upper and lower control arms will be replaced with performance ones...the stock $4 ones don't last but only a couple months during hard off-roading.
