So, I got my M5OD-R2 into my truck today (1998 ranger previously 3.0 regular cab short box 4x4 mated with my expo motor and the crossmember does not line up. The tranny I bought is from www.smartpartsauto.com remanufactured from a 1999 4.2 liter f150. My crossmember doesn't line up with the holes in the bottom on the tailhousing. Wondering if anyone has done this swap before run into this same issue. Could use some wisdom and experience in the matter. :dunno:

From what I have seen on "2wd"... You have to make a little adapter plate. I have not looked anything up 4x4.

Pics would be great.

A buddy of mine is a welder and he is making me a nice beefy crossmember from scratch. When it's done I might have to make a tutorial for those who want to keep a manual tranny in this swap
