1988 4x4 ranger first pick-up project

Featured Build Threads

Yeah it's mission impossible, I've visited 3 places with garages big enough telling them in messages before the visit it's to work on my truck " oh it's okay thats doable" but in person " oh no mechanic work allowed" what a waste of time. I had one signed and ready to get the keys with a garage but last minute for when I was called to get the keys I asked for the keys to the garage and the dude flipped the **** out! " YOUR not getting the garage the owner of building is using it! Who told you the garage came with it?!?" Like all that super agressive. At least they were nice enough to nul the contract and refund my money.

It's almost like you can't have any hobbies if you don't own your land/house

Dude, I feel that. Nobody wanted to rent me garage space when I needed to work on my Festiva. Not free, not even for $100 per day. I'm lucky that the apartment I live in doesn't care that I work on my truck, but a full-on engine swap is out of the question.

Got a good amount of space up front that's for sure but seems like I need to relocate motor mounts/ make new ones, had to remove the alternator to fit in. Shifter straight in the cab, need to make a hole. Oil plug is over the cross member. Cherry on top vacuum pump is 1/4 away from the fire wall.

But holy moly the amount of space there is with nothing else in there is mind bogling! (Don't mind the leafs too much it's october 😅🥲)
