I just took the pnd123 plaque out. If you're going to be running.a 5 speed, which is what Ive done....
I depinned all of the automatic wires, and then got rid of the entire bulk plug.
Only thing that goes under the truck on the passenger side is the front o2, and backup lights.

Wow, I need to start studying some wiring, do you use a specific tool for depinning?

Just a cheap pick from harbor freight is all you need or you can use a paper clip ground down to a point. You do NOT want to be prying to hard on those plastic tabs on the main engine harness connector!!! Just simply slide the pick or paperclip between the wire lock and wire..pull it out of the connector.
You have to be able to reuse the red plastic locker so the rest of the wires stay in place. Its time consuming... but can be done easily.
