I have a front reciever hitch on my truck but because Im body lifted I have 0 ground clearance and only got it to put a winch up front cheap. I have seen some people bolt the winch on top of the receiver. Does anyone know how to do that?

Ok my only concern is that I have literally no ground clearance with the hitch and was hoping to put the winch on top of the hitch if possible behind the bumper so that it is higher and protected to some degree

The mount shown above is REMOVABLE so shouldn't affect ground clearance. Install the winch/mount in the receiver ONLY when needed.

You usually only need it after you've buried the truck up the axles in mud though.
