My 2006 ranger FX4 level II is my first car lol

Get someone to do a title search?First vehicle was a 1984 Ford Ranger 4x2 XL 2.8L V6, automatic. My grandparents bought it new in 84, grandpa drove it to and from work during the week, used it on weekends and vacations to pull their 14' travel trailer. When I got my license I bought it from my grandparents, I drove it for about 4-5 years, it developed some serious engine issues (so I thought) and the local Ford Garage was 100% useless in solving the problem, in fact broke a mounting flange off the carburetor while they were fiddling with it. Never ran right afterwards. Finally sold it for $700...not knowing about the duraspark conversions back then, if I did I'd still have that truck, I loved it. When I sold it the body was in excellent condition, as was the interior with the exception of the standard dash cracks.
Not the greatest of pictures, but the photo was taken long before digital cameras existed, it was taken on the next thing to a digital camera...a Polaroid LOL.
Really wish I knew if that truck was still around.

That topper was a Stockland, and it had the boot between the shell and truck cab, and had a rubber seal between the bed and the shell, that thing never leaked, the only truck I ever had with a camper shell that the shell never leaked anywhere....they sure don't build them like that anymore...I found a Stockland camper shell 2 weeks ago on a Ranger at a pick a part yard, at first I was oh hell yeah I found a shell for my current Ranger, hopes were quickly dashed when I realized it was for the 6-1/2 foot bed not my 7 foot bed . I swear nobody made a 7' camper shell for the Rangers I've yet to find one anywhere, and sadly the pick a part would have sold the shell for $50.Holy !!
If I didn't know any better, I'd swear that was MY '85, but before it was painted. NOTE: The '85 wasn't my first vehicle, it was my third. Grandpa bought the truck in 1997, after I wrote off his '80 Chevrolet Silverado (the accident wasn't my fault, a young girl turned left in front of me. I hit her 1990 Chev Cavalier square on the doors). The Ranger had been totaled and repaired before Grandpa bought it. When they repaired it, they painted it a nice copper colour, but when I looked at the inner door edges, I could see the original paint. The only thing I never knew was whether the dark brown on the bottom came up over the wheel wells like the grey on my '90.
My topper was different, and it had running boards before the accident (and it was an '85 with a 5 speed).
