I have a hot restart problem with my ford tuned unit... so it's probably not that hard to get to start bad...

So I read up on the MAF/BOV thing and it seems that if you place the MAF before the BOV then you get a rich condition when you let off the gas. From what I read it would seem that as long as the BOV is before the MAF you shouldn't have issues. There is debate between placing the MAF before or after the innercooler but I will leave that up to you guys to discuss.

the problem is that the MAF is designed and calibrated to be accurate under free air flow, not pressurized air flow, not to mention it wasn't designed to be under pressure. it might work though...

so this may be a case where swapping to speed density may be better? I can mess with speed density in many different ways to make it work. MAP clamp/mising link with a RRFPR or my favorite, MSII EMS.
