Moved a couple sets of wheels/tires around the yard yesterday, put the tounge jack on the trailer, and got the bore adapter half installed on the caddy lol.

Hoping to go get a tank of gas for the welder later on today so I can finally start making progress on stuff.
That reminds me, I still need to make a point of getting my one oxygen bottle for my one torch replaced. Going to have to make a point of dealing with that before one of those 8pm on a Saturday and I need the torch but can’t use it deals.

I missed out on a deal on a complete set of torches. I don't do the Facebook thing... but I ended up searching the marketplace. Had to ask my daughter to message them and by the time she did... they had sold.

I was pondering creating an account just to do Facebook marketplace.

FB sucks… I get in trouble everytime I post something. I just got a 30 day ban for posting this:

I challenged it, they canceled my ban and restored my comment.

I had something similar about the kids that ran over that bike rider a couple weeks back. I talked about the legal system and if they were found to be guilty, they should be hung. Facebook flagged it as violence against another and didn't rescind their decision. If it wasn't for the groups I help out with on there, I would just walk but I'm not going to just leave them hanging.

They’re big on violence against someone. Once you say they should be hung, you get flagged. They’ll never reverse that decision, I know.

This one was because a friend (Janae) tried to use that template to make a meme and screwed up, so I used it to make a meme about her.

It's probably best I don't get access to marketplace anyway. I like to collect junk way to much.

I guess it was not today technically, but we picked up two dirtbikes this weekend. A DRZ125 for my son and a DRZ400 for me. The 125 needs some help. The PO should be banned from ever touching a tool again. Also, I'm guessing they had carb issues because they replaced the original Mikuni VM20 with a chinese clone. I didn't even notice when I bought it. It's giving me fits trying to tune it. The 400 is in pretty nice shape and no issues.

Well Saturday I put a thing in our offroad vehicle so there is actually a place to mount a gmrs radio and to increase storage.

Velcro under the dash was a fail.

And then Sunday my kid got his birthday present early so he would have it for out trip to Texas next week... and we went to the zoo/aquarium.

Don't you have a welder? Why not just make one yourself....

My welders are all sitting on the floor of my garage and get moved with a hand truck if needed.

Welder at work actually sits nice on top of a Husky 5 drawer toolbox.

No scrap to make one with. I got enough going on anyways.. quit trying to put more irons in my fire lol.

Ooooh I forgot... I sold the set of 32" grabbers I had on the '21 ranger yesterday afternoon. I initially bought them mounted on method 316 wheels with 8k miles on everything for 400$... and I sold the tires for 300 🙂 1200$ set of wheels for 100$.. hell yes.

I replaced the seal between the cap and the bed on the 2019. It was pretty much smashed to nothing. No wonder it leaked. I had to use some clamps to squeeze the new seal enough to get the bolts started with the new seal in place.

I also checked the tongue weight of the utility trailer with the ramp sections and completely stripped now that I have the weight of the individual pieces to work with. With the ramp sections still on, it’s in the 10% to 15% range. Completely stripped of all panels, it’s heavy by 5% but with proper load placement, that can be worked with.

When I got home tonight I jumped on the tractor and shaped the dirt I just put on the pond brim where it had drained in the past... then drove over it a bunch of times with the tractor to compact it. I should have enough of a flat spot on top to take the riding mower further around now which will be nice... Then I hooked up the spring tooth cultivator and went around all the area I tilled, next step is chain harrow then the 8' wide orchard drag to get it flat...

Not much yesterday. I got all panels back on the trailer. Today’s plan is to get all the camping gear loaded back into it so the trailer can get rolled into the garage and free up the driveway for putting the carport up for the winter.
