My credo
I poop in the furnace.
I shine under pressure, and I'm usually particularly calm and aware when dealing with fire.

I would probably have thrown it in the nearest dry ceramic container, like the sink or tub, then thrown a towel on it.

I am also, at all times, fire or no, aware of the reaction of lithium and water, and when possible aware of the nearest sources of both.
Im gonna test you on that last part. :ROFLMAO:

But come on, the phone I had before that stupid galaxy note still had nicad battery i think. I cant keep up with technology. They actually sell lithium deep cycle batteries for boats now. Who the hell thought that was smart!? I love those LiFePo4? Batteries for my emergency stuff cause they weigh nothing but im smart enough to keep them away from water.

Ive been making sodium to throw in pools and lakes since i was like 12 though.

In first world countries like the US water is present almost everywhere, particularly in public buildings.

Same with lithium as it is present in pretty much all cell phone batteries. Usable lithium, on the other hand, is rarer, which is why I said "when possible".

If you don't have time to do it right will you have time to do it over?
I had a skunk hiding under my lawnmower after he strewed trash all over my shed. You should not get mad, stick a pistol under the mower and shoot the skunk. If you do the smell will force you to tear down the shed and build a new one.

In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they are different.

One of the smartest things a man can do.

Never try to douse a fire with pure antifreeze.

-Yes, when I was young and green (now I'm old and green, kinda like 2 week old bread), I tried this when a plastic bag on the exhaust caught fire. It *did* manage to blow the flames out though...

Also... antifreeze may taste delicious but you really shouldn't drink it.
